Another loss

My Schuster left us on July 2nd 2010.
We rescused Schuster 4 years ago. We believe he would have been 11 this month.
He started to act "different" Friday night and my gut told me it was bloat.
Knowing the symptoms from years of worrying about Simon, I called the ER and rushed him right over.
Sadly, I was correct. I believe I acted quick enough that my boy never was in terrible pain.
He was put to sleep in the ER Friday night, with my husband and I by his side.
He was a really good dog and will always be missed. He was taken to soon.

"Schuster" Rescused July 24th 2006 - July 2nd 2010

My Simon became ill in Feb 2010. After many vet visits, medications and x-ray's
We learned that he had a large tumor in his lung pressing against his heart which was why he
was having such difficulty breathing. I was told by my vet on Feb 20th to "have a seat" and
on Feb 23rd my vet made a house call and put my boy to sleep.
Needless to say I am heartbroken. This dog was and will always be part of me.
I want to thank all of my fabulous customers for their patience, support and kind words.

and gained a new friend "Schuster" from a rescue in 2007.
